DUTIES:
- Assists the DEM with the preparation ofall reports and budget estimates for the district office;
- Assist DEM to actively facilitate the accomplishment ofoperational tasks, such as voter sensitisation and education campaigns, surveying and verifying possible polling places for elections, registration and updating of Voter Roll, demarcation of parliamentary constituencies and local government wards, polling day activities;
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and disburses petty cash on the approval ofthe DEM;
- Assist DEM in pre-screening and collation oflist of potential ‘ad hoc’ election staff;
- Ensure ‘ad hoc’ staff are aware of their legal obligations, and adhere to operational/logistical orders in the exercise of their duties;
- Assist in the preparation of detailed result-based work plans and budget for district electoral activities;
- Assist the DEM to monitor and report on all field operations in the district;
- Establish and maintain a well-structured filing system in the district;
- Provide minutes and/or records as directed by DEM for all meetings

Qualifications & relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in various Fields of study.
- Certificate from !NEACE (Institute of Electoral Administration and Civic Education) would be an added

- Able to communicate effectively at all

- Willingness to work in a team and support colleagues in a professional and courteous
- Must be computer literate
