IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred on it by Section 33 of the Constitution of Sierra Leone, 1991 (Act No. 6 of 1991); and pursuant to Sections 7, 42 and 171 of the Public Elections Act, 2022 (Act No. 17 of 2022) and The Public Elections (Early Voting) Regulations, 2023 (No. 3 of 2023); the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) hereby informs the general public that it will be conducting Early Voting for Presidential Election from 7am to 5pm on Thursday, 15TH June 2023. The Election will be conducted for Pilgrims who are Registered Voters and will be traveling to the holy Land of Mecca on religious pilgrimage to exercise their franchise before Lhe departure.
